Violet Martha Jane Courtney, 94, died Thursday in a local care center.  She was 
a resident of Las Vegas since 1963.

A homemaker, she was born Sept. 18, 1898 in Dublin, Ireland.

She is survived by her daughter, Claire Faraci of Las Vegas; son, Dennis of 
England and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services are private.  Neptune Society of Nevada handled arrangements.
