He has been employed for some time at the plant of the American Borax company and in company with one JOHNSON had been in town. He was in various resorts about town and at about two o'clock Sunday morning when he started for hs place of employment, was under the influence of bootleg whiskey. About twenty miles out from town the car in which he and JOHNSON were riding ran off the grade. They were picked up by Frank WAITE and Ernest LAKE and brought to the Las Vegas hospital. CUNNINGHAM died at eight thirty the next morning, never having recovered consciousness. JOHNSON had his wrist broken. W. I. ROBERTS, the undertaker, has been unable to locate any relatives of CUNNINGHAM. He found that he had a sister living in Oregon in 1920 but could not succeed in locating her. Friends of the man said that he had a son attending school in Spokane, Washington but efforts to communicate with him were of no avail. He was buried in the local cemetery Wednesday.
