LITTLE LAD MEETS UNTIMELY DEATH

 

    Paul William, known as "Billie," the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey 

DEDERICHS of Sloan, while playing near the home of his parents Thursday 

morning, walked into an open cesspool and was drowned.  The little fellow was 

missed almost immediately and search was made and his body was found.  The 

grief stricken parents immediately brought the little one to this city and Dr. 

MILDREN worked over him for an hour trying to resuscitate him but the spark of 

life had fled.

    The sympathy of the entire community goes out to these sorrowing parents in 

the loss of this, their only child.  The funeral will be held at the Catholic 

church Monday morning at 10 o'clock.  Interment will be in the Las Vegas 

cemetery.  Mrs. DEDERICHS is the daughter of T. K. WILSON of this city.  Mr. 

DEDERICH's mother arrived from L. A. Friday morning to be with her children in 

their great sorrow.
