SECTION MAN KILLED

    On the morning of October 1st a hand car on the L.V. & T. was thrown 
from the track by one of the tools on the car catching in the wheel.  
The section crew were thrown off, Pablino DEL REAL alighting on his head 
and shoulders.  He was able to be around for a day or two, but on the 
fourth became worse and was brought in to Dr. MARTIN's hospital, 
unconscious.  Drs. HEWETSON and MARTIN worked over the injured man 
nearly all night, but in spite of their efforts he died about 3 o'clock 
Tuesday morning.  Concussion of the brain was the cause of death.  
Deceased was buried at the expense of the railroad company, in the 
cemetery at the ranch.
