DIED



DENNING:  In this city, Saturday, March 9, 1918, Mildred DENNING, five

year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. DENNING.  The remains will be taken to

Los Angeles for interment.

    The little girl was suffering from appendicitis and had been taken to

the Las Vegas Hospital for an operation, but died before the operation

could be begun.

    We extend the deep sympathy of the community to the bereaved ones.
