He is survived by his wife, of 49 years, Maria; his two sons, Luigi and his wife, Christy of San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Roy of San Francisco. Rogelio de Vicente was born in Madrid, Spain July 12, 1936. He changed his name to Roy in 1970 when he became an American citizen. He loved the United States very much and was very proud to be an American. Roy was a third generation artist specializing in wood carving, painting clay and bronze sculptures and custom furniture. His works are world renowned and can be found locally in the Main Street Station and the MGM Grand. He will be very missed by all those who knew him. Services will be private.
