JOSEPH DION

    Joseph M. Dion, 94, died Monday in a local hospital.  He was a resident 
of Las Vegas since 1953.

    An Army veteran of World War II, he was born March 10, 1896, in 
Wetstone, S. D. and was a retired truck driver and a member of VFW.

    He is survived by [omitted]

    Visitation will be 2 p.m. until an 8 p.m. rosary today in Palm Mortuary 
downtown.  Mass will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Anne's Catholic Church. 
Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.  The family requests 
donations be made to the American Heart Association, 3355 Spring Mountain 
Road, Suite 23, Las Vegas, Nev. 89102
