DIED MONDAY, JULY 4TH

MRS. MARY DOYLE, AGE 68(?)



    Mrs. Mary DOYLE has been for many years a resident of Las Vegas.  Her 

death was very sudden and occurred while visiting her sister Mrs. MC QUADE, 

at Gallup, New Mexico.  She has always led a most active life, and has been 

identified with all patriotic and charitable enterprises.  Although born in 

Scotland, Mrs. DOYLE was an ardent patriot, and had four sons in the 

country's service at one time.  Therefore it seems rather fitting that this 

loyal woman should have passed away on the anniversary of the birth of the 

country she loved so well.  Her place will be hard to fill, but her example 

may well be inspiration to many.

    There survive her a daughter, Julia SHEPPARD and four sons, George, 

James, Joseph and Charles, all of whom went to Gallup to attend the funeral. 

The Age extends these, and other relatives and friends sincere sympathy.
