DIED

EVANS -  In Redlands, Cal., June 21, 1917, Mrs. Sue McAbee EVANS, 
beloved mother of Mrs. Eleanor Evans MANNION of Las Vegas, aged 44 
years.
    At the time of her death Mrs. EVANS was secretary of the Redlands 
Chapter of the Red Cross, and gave her whole mind and heart to the work. 
She was weakened in health by her energetic work and fell an easy 
victim to pneumonia. No one who goes to war was a more willing 
sacrifice to the service of his country than was Mrs. EVANS. Her 
untimely death is regretted by all and our sympathy goes out to the 
daughter and all who mourn.
