Ewell, 65, of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 25, 2009, surrounded by his devoted family. He was born June 16, 1944, in Provo, Utah, to Elmer and Luella Ewell. A longtime resident of Las Vegas, he graduated from Rancho High School. He was a plastering contractor for many years and, along with his wife, owned and operated Latter Day Tours. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served as a youth leader and Bishop. Larry is survived by his wife, Ginger, of 44 years; eight children, Lisa Manley, Jill Harper, Robin Thompson, Kelly Jacks, Larry Ewell II, Ginger Warner, Amy Johnson and John Ewell; 28 grandchildren; brother, E. Lloyd Ewell; and sister, Rose Marie Lee. He will be greatly missed and we are at peace, knowing that we are an eternal family. Public viewing will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, both at the LDS Chapel, 10550 Alta Drive.
