H. FARRELL, aged 43 years. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the undertaking chapel and interment was made at the city cemetery, Rev. B. F. SUMMERS officiating. The casket was laden with floral offerings and appropriate music was rendered by Mesdames DOBSON, DOHERTY, MURTAUGH and CORKHILL; with Mrs. R. W. MARTIN at the organ. The deceased had been in this city for about six weeks for treatment for tuberculosis and seemed to be improving. Sunday noon, after the exertion of a walk, she was taken with a hemorrhage of the lungs and died within a few minutes. The deceased leaves surviving her a sorrowing husband, J. H. FARRELL of Goodsprings, and the daughter, Mrs. Virginia EDWARDS of Bakersfield, both of whom were present at the funeral. She was born in New York state but had lived in Nevada about six years, the last nine months being at the Bullion mine near Goodsprings. The bereaved ones have the sincere sympathy of all in this great sorrow.
