He was picked up and found to be severely injured. He was brought in Las Vegas and placed in the Las Vegas hospital, but died at 6 that evening, without having regained consciousness. Investigation proved the name of the deceased to be A. D. GALLEHUE, formerly a cook at the Busy Bee restaurant at Plainview, Texas. He had been about Vegas several days and beat his way on No. 20 to Rox station where he was put off the train by Conductor COOK. It is supposed the unfortunate man climbed aboard No. 8, which came along soon after, and fell off that train at a point ten miles farther on. His injuries were mostly to his head. He had been drinking heavily, it is said. He has a sister living in Washington, D. C. and word from her is awaited before interring the remains.
