The cause of death was cancer of the stomach from which malady Mr. GAMBLE has been a sufferer for the past six months. The deceased has been a railroad man for many years and at the time of his death was a conductor. He came here from Spokane, Wash., about three years ago with his wife who survives him. Funeral services will be held today at 2:00 p.m. at the undertaking parlors of L. D. SMITH, on Second street under the auspices of the O.R.C. and the B. of L.F. The remains have been prepared for shipment and will be taken to Ogden, Utah, by Mrs. GAMBLE tomorrow. John GAMBLE was a man of sterling qualities and a likable disposition. He had many friends in this section and the sympathy of all goes out to the sorrowing widow.
