Joseph N. Garnett, 69, died Jan. 8 in a local hospital.  He was a 14-year 
resident of Henderson.

A Navy veteran of World War II, he was born July 20, 1923, in Padacah, Ky., and 
was a painter in construction and member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in 
Henderson.

He is survived by his wife, Rusleen of Henderson; daughters, Cheryl Levitt and 
Charlene Weisman, both of Cape Cod, Mass; Debra Noyola of Henderson, Diane 
Daugherty of Covina, Calif., Gwendolyn Goss of Van Buren, Ark., Peggy Salermi 
of San Gabriel, Calif., Freda Dixon of Fort Lewis, Wash. and ________. (article
