A. GASE, who with Mrs. GASE has been in San Diego for several months past. He passed away on Tuesday, November third, after a lingering illness, and was buried in the San Diego cemetery. Judge GASE was 67 years of age at the time of his death. He has been a resident of Las Vegas since the townsite was opened in 1905 and during nearly all of his life here he was engaged in the business of repairing watches and clocks. In addition to his other business, he was elected municipal justice upon the incorporation of the city and has retained that position ever since. The deceased was a kindly, pleasant man who had many warm friends among his acquaintances. He was known to nearly all of our people and his death brings sincere regret. We extend our deep sympathy to the widow and other sorrowing ones.
