HER BROTHER KILLED IN ACTION NOVEMBER 5



    Mrs. E. W. NUNGESSER has received a message from Washington, notifying

her that her brother, Perry W. MANN, was killed in action in France November

fifth.

    Of course no particulars are available at this time.  To come now, after

the fighting has stopped and when all hoped that their dear ones had been

spared, the loss is more hard to bear.  Mrs. NUNGESSER has the deep sympathy

of the entire community in this very sad bereavement.
