LAS VEGAS AGE

11/30/1918



FRENCH:  In this city, Monday November 25, 1918, Albert C. FRENCH, aged 24,

of influenza pneumonia.

    Funeral services held on Monday were attended by a large number of

sorrowing friends.   Rev. W. H. ROGERS officiated, and interment was made in

Wooodlawn Cemetery.

    The deceased leaves surviving him his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs.

Charles A. FRENCH, his widow, Dorothy Montgomery FRENCH, two small children

and three sisters.

    "Bert" FRENCH was one of the stalwart young fellows who have grown from

childhood to man's estate in Las Vegas.  He was loved and respected by all

for his manly qualities and leaves many friends who sincerely and

grieviously mourn his passing.  Just at the threshold of a life which gave

promise of fullness, he was stricken, and died before we could realize that

his condition was serious.

    We can only hope that the kindly hand of time may soften the sorrow of

those who are left to mourn.  The sympathy of the entire community goes out

to them in unstinted measure.
