DIED



BARON - In this city, Thursday, October 31, 1918, Pete BARON, aged 32 years.

The deceased had been in the employ of the Arden Plaster Co. for the past

five years until a few days ago.  He came to Vegas and was in his usual good

health, and secured a job at the Manganese mines east of Vegas.  He went out

there and went to work for about two hours when he was taken with influenza.

He was brought to Vegas again and in three days was dead of pneumonia.    He

leaves a wife and six children.
