THE TOLL OF DEATH



FIETTA:  In Goodsprings, Nevada, Tuesday, November 12, 1918, Joe FIETTA,

aged 27 years, of influenza pneumonia.

The deceased was an employee of the Yellow Pine Mine and was highly

regarded by a large circle of acquaintances.  He was a native of Italy,  and

unmarried.  He leaves surviving him, his father and mother and brothers  and

sisters, residing at Venice,  Italy.





The remains were brought to Las Vegas for burial and a number of  friends

of the deceased followed the body to its last resting place Thursday

afternoon.
