HAYES - In Los Angeles, California, Friday, September 13, 1918, Nathan E.

HAYES, father of George M. HAYES of Las Vegas.    George M. HAYES had gone

to Los Angeles for a short visit at the home of  his parents, and on his

arrival on Thursday afternoon, found his father in  his usual health.  The

old gentleman went to bed that evening and passed  away peacefully while

sleeping.  His death was not discovered until the next  morning.  The

deceased was 75 years of age, lacking a few days, and had for some time been

in feeble health, so that his death was not entirely  unexpected.  We join

the many  friends of the bereaved son in extending  sympathy.
