MEXICAN WOMAN DEAD AS RESULT OF SHOOTING

 

    Mrs. Fenida NEGRETE, who was shot through the abdomen at Garnet station 

Thursday of last week, is dead.  The woman was brought to Vegas Thursday 

evening after the shooting, and placed in the railroad hospital.  The following 

morning she was started for Los Angeles to be operated upon arriving there 

Friday afternoon.  The operation took place Saturday forenoon, nearly 48 hours 

after the time the shooting occurred and death followed that evening.

    Mrs. NEGRETE was shot by one Jose YBARRA who then turned the gun on himself 

in a successful attempt to commit suicide.
