DIED

 

NORMAN - In this city, Tuesday, June 3, 1919, at 3 p.m., Mrs. Mary NORMAN, 

beloved wife of J. L. NORMAN and mother of Katherine NORMAN.

    Mr. and Mrs. NORMAN and daughter came to Vegas from Spreckles, California 

in January last in hopes that the change of climate would be of benefit to Mrs. 

NORMAN, who had been in poor health for the past two years.  The hope was in 

vain and the wife and mother passed away in spite of everything that human 

kindness could do for her.

    The funeral was held from the undertaking parlor Wednesday afternoon and 

was attended by many friends.  Interment was in Woodlawn cemetery.
