DIED



MC BRIDE;  At the Las Vegas Hospital in this city, Thursday, September 23,

1920, at 3:50 p.m., Fay McCormick MC BRIDE, beloved wife of W. I. MC BRIDE,

aged 23 years.

    The direct cause of death was diabetic coma.  The patient had been a

sufferer from diabetis for some time as a result of which she was obliged to

undergo an operation Wednesday.  She passed through that ordeal well and the

physicians had for a time hopes of her recovery.  However, the sound of the

fire bell Thursday morning threw her into a state of nervous excitement, she

having had some previous frights by fires, and she soon went into a coma

from which she never awoke.

    Mr. and Mrs. MC BRIDE were married only last February and the husband

feels his loss severely.  They had lived in Vegas only about three months,

Mr. MC BRIDE, being a fireman in the employ of the Salt Lake road.

    The deceased leaves a mother who resides in Los Angeles.  The remains

have been prepared for shipment at the undertaking parlors of W. I. ROBERTS

and will be taken to San Bernardino on this evening's train for interment.
