E. YOUNT, beloved wife of S. E. YOUNT of Los Angeles. The many Las Vegas friends of the YOUNT family were saddened at the news of the death of Mrs. YOUNT. It was known that she had been ailing for some time and that an operation was thought necessary but all hoped that a Devine Providence would restore her to health again. Most of her life had been spent on the desert and her days were full of kindly deeds. She will be greatly missed by a large circle of warm friends who unite in sympathy to the bereaved husband and family. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from the funeral parlors of W. A. Brown in Los Angeles and interment took place at the beautiful Rockdale cemetery in the Glendale hills, where the body was consigned to a mausoleum. Rev. Percivale S. SMITHE conducted the services. The music consisted of two solos, "O Dry Those Tears," and "Somewhere A Voice is Calling." Pall bearers were J. F. KENT, Robt. PUOLZ, Charles P. SQUIRES, DR. C. W. PATTON, Frank R. MC NAMEE and Arthur POMEROY. Besides her husband, Samuel E. YOUNT, she leaves three sons, William ELLIS, Dr. ELLIS of Los Angeles and Monte SMITHSON and five grandchildren, William and Dorris ELLIS, who had been adopted by her and Mr. YOUNT and Hazel, Edith and Emma ELLIS.
