INFANT ASPHYXIATED



    The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Juan ESQUIBEL was found dead this

morning when her mother attempted to awaken her.  Dr. MILDREN was called to

the home in Old Town, and upon investigation found that the child had been

dead for at least ten hours.  It appears that the mother took the baby with

her to the picture show last evening.  Upon returning home she laid her on

the bed and covered her over with a blanket.  It is believed that the

covering was too close and heavy and that the child was unable to get

sufficient air to keep her alive.

    The baby's name was Samona ESQUIBAL and she was born June 13, 1920.
