His death resulted from injuries received several days before, when he struck on his head when diving into the plunge at the Polytechnic High School. Robert MOFFAT was 17 years old at the time of his death. He was born in Scotland and came to this country with his parents at an early age. He was a resident of Las Vegas until last fall when he went to Los Angeles to take a course in the manual arts department of the Los Angeles Polytechnic. In addition to his father and his mother, he leaves one brother, Donald, and two sisters, Allison and Margaret. The remains were brought to Las Vegas on No. 4 this morning. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Methodist church. Robert was an unusually fine and manly boy and his untimely death brings sorrow to all who knew him. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved family.
