FORMER CITIZEN PASSES ON TO HIGHER REWARD



    We learn with regret of the passing at St. Thomas last Sunday, of Harry

GENTRY, one of the foremost citizens of Clark county.

    Mr. GENTRY was 67 years old, and was born in England, coming to this

country when a boy and locating in Panaca.  There he was married to Ellen

SYPHUS and they moved to St. Thomas where they have resided 37 years.  The

widow and six children mourn the loss of a loving husband and father.

    The funeral occured on Decoration Day at the Assembly Hall and was

attended by a large number of friends and neighbors.  The music was

beautiful.  C. C. ROMMER, John BUNKER, Bishop JONES and M. A. BUNKER paid

tribute to the many noble qualities [of] the deceased.  Interment at St.

Thomas.
