VICTOR HUSON, SISTER OF JUDGE ORR PASSES AWAY Pioche Record - Mrs. Victor HUSON, after a violent struggle, passed away at 11:30 Saturday night. Every effort known was tried to save her young and valued life, but to no avail, and the end came peacefully while she was surrounded by her dear ones. Mrs. HUSON, or Mattie, as she was affectionately known by her many friends, was brought up in Pioche and was known to everyone and her life, though short, had been a busy one, taken up with helping others. After graduation from school she had taken up nursing and shortly after the completion of her course she married Victor HUSON at Pioche. Mrs. HUSON is survived by her husband and an infant daughter, her mother, Mrs. Carrie ORR, two sisters, Mrs. Fannie WOODHEAD and Mrs. MANSIR, and by three brothers, Judge William E. ORR, of the Fourth Judicial District, now residing at Las Vegas, R. R. ORR and Alex ORR, both of Pioche. With the exception of Mrs. MANSIR all were present during the latter part of Mrs. HUSON's illness. The funeral services were conducted jointly by the Rebecca and the Order of the Eastern Star at the Christ Church Mission. Archdeacon Percieval C. SMYTHE officiating. The church and chancell were beautifully decorated with electric lights shining among the many floral offerings. Fred W. DICKLE assisted the Rev. SMYTHE in arranging the church and seating the large gathering of mourners who overflowed into the street, it being estimated that over 250 people attended, a number coming from outside points. Attending to the esteem in which Mrs. HUSON was held by all who knew her was the simple beauty and splendor of the bounteous floral offerings. The interment took place at the Masonic and Oddfellow Cemetery and the beautiful address by Archdeacon SMYTHE impressed the fathering and will long be remembered. The pall bearers were George W. FRANKS, Dan W. FRANKS, J. R. FITZGERALD, Gordon GAINES, Chester COOK and Frank DOLAN.
