SPROULE ATTENDED BY MANY PEOPLE A large number of our citizens gathered at the funeral chapel Monday afternoon as a tribute of respect in the memory of Robert SPROULE. Among the gathering were many of our pioneers who had known the deceased intimately for the past seventeen years and who sincerely mourn the passing of this more than friend. Mrs. Florence DOHERTY sang "I Will Sing You a Song of That Beautiful Land" and "Son of My Soul." Rev. Leo KLINE paid a glowing tribute to this man, who, although he lived his life quietly, "yet, he will leave his impress on the lives of all with whom he came in contact. He closed his remarks by reading Tennyson's "Crossing the Bar." "Sunset and evening star, And one clear call for me; "Oh, may there be no meaning of the bar When I Put out to seas." The casket was covered with many beautiful floral offerings. The following acted as pall bearers: A. S. HENDERSON, F. A. STEVENS, Tom PARKER, N. E. WILLIAMS, R. W. MARTIN and ARTHUR BUSCH.
