WILL BECKLEY's SISTER DIES



    Mrs. Emma SCHARLOCK, wife of Samuel SCHARLOCK, and sister of Will 

BECKLEY of this city and of Jake BECKLEY of Blythe, California, died 

suddenly at her home in Fairbury, Illinois, Monday last.

    Funeral services were held in Fairbury Thursday afternoon, the Beckley 

stores being closed at that time.

    The deceased had been in poor health for some time, but her death came 

as  a great shock to her relatives.  Mrs. SCHARLOCK leaves no children.
