HUNTER was instantly killed and his body terribly mangled by an explosion of dynamite at the camp where he was employed near Cima, California, last Monday morning. Thomas H. HUNTER, a son, who resides in this city, was notified by wire and went to Cima, returning to Vegas with the remains. The funeral was held at the undertaking chapel, Rev. W. H. ROGERS officiating. The deceased had for some years been suffering from bronchial trouble induced by pneumonia following an accident at Telkwa, B.C. He had been recently engaged in mining at Humboldt, Arizona and at Cima, Cal. He leaves surviving him, two sons, Thomas H. HUNTER of this city and J. H. HUNTER of Humboldt, Arizona and two daughters, Mrs. O. A. REIGLE of Talkwa, B.C. and Mrs. Samuel TOMER of Sacramento, Cal.
