MORROW The funeral services for Willis A. MORROW were held at the chapel of W. H. Sutch, 842 Figuroa street, on Wednesday, March 29, Rev. W. H. ROGERS officiating. Many Las Vegas people paid their last tribute of respect to young Willis A. MORROW at the funeral services, most of the large gathering of sorrowing friends being either present or past residents of this city. The floral tributes were wonderfully profuse and beautiful. It was fitting that the services should be conducted by Rev. W. H. ROGERS, who has soothed the hearts of Vegas people on many similar occasions. Rev. ROGERS service was full of beautiful thoughts and over flowed with kindly feeling as of old. He took for his text a portion of the Shepherd's psalm, "Yea, though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I shall fear no evil." Three solos were beautifully rendered by the soloist of Mt. Olive Church, of which Mr. ROGERS is pastor; "One Sweetly Solemn Thought", "Lead, Kindly Light" and "All Through the Night." Willis was only 19 years old, having been born in San Jose, Calif., in 1902. He grew to young manhood in Las Vegas where his family resided for a number of years. In common with many Vegas friend, we wish to express to the sorrowing family our deep sympathy. Interment was in Ingelwood cemetery, Los Angeles, California.
