MOTHER AND CHILD BURNED TO DEATH

 

FATHER SEVERELY BURNED WHILE TRYING TO RESCUE HIS FAMILY

 

    While Mrs. Cuoa Santa Marcia Ayala and her young baby were asleep in their 

home near the shops Thursday morning they were overcome by gas from a gasoline 

stove.  Later the gas stove ignited and the home was enveloped in flames but 

the poor mother and babe were unconscious and it was not until the door was 

broken open that they were rescued.  They were terribly burned and only lived a 

short time.  The husband was severely burned in his efforts to reach his loved 

ones.  The bodies were taken to the undertakers and were buried today.
