MAN DIES WHEN CAR HITS POWER POLE



An unidentified man was killed early Sunday after his car struck a power 

pole and caught on fire.

    The man, whose name is being withheld pending notification of relatives, 

was driving south on Fort Apache Road near Sahara at 1:46 a.m. when he lost 

control of the car.

    The car slid sideways over a curb and into a construction site, struck a 

power pole and caught on fire after live wires touched it.
