DIED



NELSON:  In this city, Sunday, January 6, 1918, A. R. NELSON, as a result

of being struck by a train.  He leaves surviving him one son and a widow.

    The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Chapel of the

Las Vegas Undertaking Company, Rev. W. H. ROGERS officiating.  The

services were attended by a large number of friends of the deceased, and the 

high school pupils, schoolmates of Gerald, attended in a body.  The interment

was in the City Cemetery.  The floral offierings were many and beautiful.

    The deceased leaves many friends in Las Vegas who sincerely regret his

untimely fate.  The sympathy of all goes out to those who mourn.
