ED ANDERSON DIES IN LOS ANGELES



    Ed Anderson, who for several years was the superintendent in charge of 

the Great Western Gypsum Company at Moapa but recently with Mr. GORIN at the 

mill in Los Angeles, while trying to start an elevator that had refused to 

work, caught his foot in the cable.  His ankle was broken and he was taken 

to the hospital where his injuries were attended to.  In a few days it was 

found necessary to amputate his leg but he was unable to stand the shock and 

passed away Thursday evening, February 15.  He was buried in the Odd Fellows 

cemetery in Los Angeles.  He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Thelma MOFFATT of 

Santa Cruz, Cal., and one son, Julian ANDERSON of Las Vegas, to whom the 

sympathy of the community is extended.
