G. JORDAN, FORMERLY OF CRESENT, DIES IN LOS ANGELES A letter has just been recieved from J. B. HORNE from Los Angeles telling of the sad death of Mrs. G. JORDAN, who for several years lived in Cresent where she was a co-partner in a torquoise mine. In the fall of 1921 Mrs. JORDAN went to Los Angeles to consult a physician. She found that she was suffering with a cancer and that the malady was so advanced that it could not be successfully treated. With courage she prepared for the months of pain and suffering that must ensue before death should release her. In a comfortable home with an attending trained nurse she awaited the grim reaper. She passed away June 4, at 127 E. 36th Street. The last few days she was in a comotose state and was unconscious of her suffering. Mrs. JORDAN had many friends in Southern Nevada who admired her for her indomitable courage and who regret her untimely passing.
