RECEIVES WORD OF BROTHER'S DEATH



    E. T. PATRICK today received word of the death of his eldest brother,

James M. PATRICK, which occured in Los Angeles yesterday, following an

illness of about a month.  The deceased was a native of St. Louis and

about 70 years of age.  During the early days of the Southern Nevada mining boom

he operated in the Rhyolite section and made many friends there.  He was

also a brother of L. L. PATRICK, of Goldfield.  The remains will probably

be shipped to his old home in St. Louis for burial. - Carson Appeal.
