ARNOLD Funeral services for the late Wm. E. ARNOLD were held Monday afternoon from Roberts chapel, under the auspices of Lodge No. 1468, B.P.O. Elks. The large concourse of friends in attendance was a fitting tribute of the esteem i which the deceased was held by the community in which he had resided so many years. Las Vegas Aerie 1213, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Lodge 1468, B.P.O. Elks, met at the hall and marched to the chapel, where the impressive funeral service of the Elks was carried out. The casket was adorned with beautiful floral tributes. Mrs. Florence DOHERTY and Mr. A. T. STONE rendered touching vocal selections, and Miss Lucille POTTER presided at the organ. Following the service by the Elks' Lodge, Rev. Leo C. KLINE delivered a short and appropriate address. The pallbearers were Mayor W. C. GERMAN, Commissioner A. R. ANDERSON, Commissioner W. H. ELWELL, John F. MILLER, A.S. HENDERSON and E. S. SHEPPARD. Aside from the immediate family and the mother, Mrs. Geo. MULLENS of this city, deceased leaves surviving a brother, Charles ARNOLD, of Hamilton, California, and three sisters--Mrs. Adeline BROTHERSON of Lindsburg, Kansas; Mrs. George DENNIS of Long Beach, California, and Mrs. Margaret LAKE of Fresno, California.
