STEPHEN ROCKO DIES FROM EFFECT OF WOUNDS



    Stephen ROCKO, who was shot two weeks ago by Don COLE, died from the

effect of his wounds at the Las Vegas Hospital early Saturday morning.

    COLE is being held in the county jail and a charge of murder will be

made against him.  Judge BREEZE held an inquest over the remains of the

deceased this afternoon.

    ROCKO was shot while drunk and making threats, against COLE with a

butcher knife.  His death adds one more name to the long list of those who

have gone to their deaths in this city as a result of drink.  It also

loads

the expense onto the taxpayers, of another murder trial.
