DIED



TATE:-In this city, Friday evening, March 1, 1918, Mrs. Jennie TATE,

beloved wife of George TATE, aged 43 years.

    Mrs. TATE had been in poor health for some months and finally

surrendered to that dread malady, cancer of the stomach.  But a few weeks

ago she returned from Los Angeles where she had been with her husband in a

vain effort to find relief.

    She was married to George TATE in San Francisco, 22 years ago, and has

ever been a loving and faithful wife.

    Mr. and Mrs. TATE came to Nevada in 1904, locating at Searchlight,

from whence they moved to Las Vegas seven years ago.  The funeral will be held

at the undertaking chapel Sunday at 2:30.
