V. FLOYD and mother of Wilma Earle FLOYD and sister of Mrs. J. C. ROBERTS. Funeral services were held at the undertaking chapel of the Las Vegas Undertaking Co., at 2 p.m. Wednesday January 10th, Rev. J. L. COLLINS officiating. Music was furnished by the choir of the M. E. Church and many friends were present. The floral offerings were especially beautiful. The members of Charleston Lodge No. 35, K. of P., of which Mr. FLOYD is a member, attended in a body. The deceased was born in Benten county, Mo. Feb. 9, 1887. Her maiden name was Dena GRIFFIN and her marriage with L. V. FLOYD took place at Paolo, Kansas, Dec. 23, 1903. One daughter, Wilma Earle, aged seven years is the only child. Mrs. FLOYD was for the past seven years a member of Fraternal Aid Union No. 75, of Oswatomie, Kansas. The deceased lived with her family in Las Vegas for four years past and leaves many friends who sympathize deeply with the bereaved husband, daughter and sister.
