DIED



ANDERSON:  In this city Monday, March 12, 1917, John B. ANDERSON, aged about

58 years.

    Funeral services were held in the undertaking chapel Tuesday morning,

Rev. J. L. COLLINS officiating.  Interment was in the city cemetery.

    Sunday afternoon, Ed. W. CLARK and C. C. RONNOW, friends and business

associates, hearing that Mr. ANDERSON was sick, went to visit him.  They

found that his condition was serious and brought him to the Las Vegas

hospital.  Arriving there about 4:30 Sunday afternoon, it was found that Mr.

ANDERSON was in a dying condition from heart trouble.  He lingered until

about 4:30 Monday morning when death intervened to end his sufferings.

    The deceased was one of the best known of the prospectors making Las

Vegas their headquarters during the past 12 years.  He was of a pleasant and

kindly disposition and had many friends who regret his untimely demise.  So

far as known he never married.
