NEWSPAPER MAN DIES SUDDENLY



L. W. HAWORTH OF BATTLE MOUNTAIN STRICKEN AT HIS HOME LAST WEEK



    L. W. HAWORTH, publisher of the Battle Mountain Scout and the Austin

Reville, one of the best known newspaper men in Nevada, died suddenly Friday

night, May 11th, about 10:30 o'clock at his home in Battle Mountain.  Mrs.

HAWORTH and children, who have been living in Reno during the winter, had

been preparing to go to Battle Mountain to join Mr. HAWORTH when they

received news of his death.  They left immediately for Battle Mountain

Saturday morning.  --Journal.
