JAMES NESBIT, SHERIFF, DIES AT PIOCHE



    Word was received yesterday afternoon to the effect that Jas. NESBIT,

sheriff of Lincoln County dropped dead in Pioche.

    The message was brief, simply stating that NESBIT dropped dead while in

the Pioche Garage today (Friday) at 3:45 p.m.

    Mr. NESBIT was elected to the office of sheriff last fall.

    The passing of this man will sadden the hearts of many.
