 LAS VEGAS AGE - 1/26/1924

DIED

Guilden - In this city, Monday, January 21, 1924, Joseph Guilden, aged 62 years.  Heart failure 
is given as the cause of death.

Funeral services were held at the Roberts Undertaking Chapel Wednesday afternoonm  Rev. W. H. 
Stockton officiating.  Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The deceased had been for some time in the employ of the U. S. Gypsum Company at the gypsum 
mines near Arden.  He was well respected of al who knew him, the high esteen in which he was 
held being indicated by the fact that the mine was closed down the afternoon of the funeral. Twelve 
automobiles filled with friends and fellow workers came to Vegas that all might have the opportunity 
to attend the funeral.

The deceased leaves surviving him, two sons residing in Miami, Arizona, and a daughter and his 
former wife in Ray, Arizona.
