Ida M. Harris, 102, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006. She was 
born in Nebraska in 1903, and moved to Las Vegas in 1921. Ida retired as a 
bookkeeper from Queen's Dress Shop in 1998. In the 1940's to the 1950's, she 
was a member of the Sheriff's Posse Women's Auxiliary and the Helldorado Days 
Parade Committee. Ida was also a member of Rebecca's and the Red Hat Society. 
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 
N. Main St.
