The funeral services will be held from the chapel Sunday afternoon. The sincere sympathy of all goes out to the bereaved family in the grievous loss of the wife and mother. LAS VEGAS AGE 4/5/1913 IN MEMORIAM Sunday afternoon, March 30, 1913, all that was mortal of Mrs. Asher HELM was laid beneath the sode in the Las Vegas cemetery. Mrs. HELM died Friday, March 28th, 1913, after an illness of several months. She was born in Marion, Ohio, in 1855 and was 58 years of age at the time of her death, and as Olive SMITH was a favorite with all who knew her. She was of bright intellect and cheery and pleasant in disposition, passing the years of her early life until her marriage in teaching school. Olive SMITH and Asher HELM were married February 14, 1884, at Leadville, Colo., she being 29 years of age at the time of her marriage and thereafter being 29 years a devoted wife. Two sons were born of the union, William L. HELM, and Henry G. HELM, both of whom, grown to manhood are living on the ranch south of this city. The family came to Las Vegas to reside five years ago. While never rugged in health, Mrs. HELM seemed much benefitted by this climate, during most of her residence here enjoying better health than in many years. While residing in this city she was an active worker in the First Methodist Church and was an enthusastic helper in the movement to build the present church. The funeral was held in the church she loved, on the peaceful Sabbath afternoon, many friends of the family being present. Rev. E. A. PALMER conducted the services in an impressive and beautiful manner. The pall bearers were appointed from among the Masonic friends of Mr. Helm, and many members of the Las Vegas.
