ROY HENSON Roy Henson, 76, of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, 
at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Scipio, Okla., to Walter and 
Ethel Henson. He lived most of his life in Las Vegas and southern California. 
Roy had a life-long love of westerns, Harley Davidson motorcycles, Ford trucks 
and country music. He was the quintessential tough guy with the soul of a poet. 
He will be remembered for his loving heart, quick wit and flirtatious nature. 
When not spending time with family, he could be found cruising on his Harley 
with his buddies, who were there for him to the end. A retired teamster, Roy 
was proud to point out roads and landmarks across the Las Vegas Valley that he 
helped build. Earlier in his life, he owned businesses including operating his 
own big rig hauling company. Roy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, of 
53 years, Kathleen Henson; three of his children, Roy Henson, Sherri Ceballos 
and Mary Masterson; and five of his siblings. He is survived by three 
daughters, Mary Henson, Kimberly Picos and Pamela Raymond; 13 grandchildren; 
many great-grandchildren; and his three sisters, Joyce, Linda and Patty. 
Special mention to Chrissy, his "special girl;" Dude, his partner in crime, who 
eased him through that last night; Gina, who supported him 24/7 those last 
weeks; Zoe, his red headed girl who sat vigil; and Rey and Mike who gave him a 
break from all those women! Also, thanks to the staff of Family Home Hospice 
for their loving care and endless patience, especially Diana and Helen. Private 
services in California are pending. In lieu of flowers, the family is 
requesting gifts be made to the American Cancer Society
