Leonard HIcks, 54, died Friday in Texas.  He was a 33-year resident of Las 
Vegas.

A baker in a hotel, he was born Jan. 6, 1939, in Louisiana.

He is survived by his wife, Delores of Dallas; son, the Rev. Otis Wells of 
Texas; daughters, Wanda Philmon, Diane Lewis, Lorraine Harold, Freda Roby, 
Elizabeth, Delores and Sharon, all of Las Vegas; sisters, Georgia Crawford of 
Louisiana, Bonnie Wilson of Arkansas, Beatrice Knox of Illinois and Carrie 
Wilson of Michigan; brothers, Willie, Robert and Danny, all of Louisiana and 
L.C. of Las Vegas, and 18 grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Greater Evergreen Baptist Church.  
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.  Davis Funeral Home North handled 
arrangements.
